Proposed Changes to the TATS Governance Documents
At the 2020 TATS Annual Meeting & Clinical Symposium, the membership of the Society will be asked to vote for the acceptance of proposed changes to both the TATS Constitution and TATS By-Laws. These proposals are the work of a Task Force convened during the early part of 2019 to review the current governance documents and recommend changes to bring before the membership. January 14th, 2017 & January 15th, 2017
TATS is excited to announce the 2017 Annual Meeting & Clinical Symposium on January 14th & 15th, 2017.
This is the premier event to kick-start the new year for athletic trainers in Tennessee. Our two-day conference boasts important educational opportunities (including evidence based practice CEUs), the society business meeting, career networking for professionals both young and old, as well as social outings hosted by the Young Professionals Committee.
The meeting will again be held at the GSO Auditorium on the campus of Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. A tentative agenda is available below.
The Early Registration cost of the event is $120 for NATA Members and $135 for Non-NATA Members. Registration costs include your access to all available sessions, as well as your ticket to attend both luncheons. By attending the meeting you will be able to earn up to 8 Category A CEU hours and 4.5 EBP hours (pending final BOC approval).
In addition to the basic registration, the Education Committee has prepared two hands-on Casting Laboratory sessions. Each hands-on session is limited to the first 20 attendees that register with an added cost of $20/attendee. There will be one session on Saturday from 10:00am - 12:00pm and another session on Sunday from 8:00am - 10:00am.
Early registration ends on January 1st, so be sure to register prior to that day to avoid the increased fees for late registration. Registration will also be available at the door on the day of the event, but at the late registration fee cost of $135 for NATA Members and $150 for Non-NATA Members. Single-day registrations are also available.
TATS has reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott Nashville - Vanderbilt/West End. If you will be in need of lodging for the event, you can book these rooms by following the "Hotel Booking" link below.

We sincerely hope you can attend and look forward to seeing so many great healthcare professionals on January 14th & 15th of 2017.
