ATs Care Training
Join us for the ATs Care event on May 31 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee! This program is designed to offer crisis management training opportunities for athletic trainers dealing with the aftermath of a critical incident. Enhance your knowledge of crisis intervention and equip yourself to support your peers in the aftermath of a critical incident1. The cost of the event is $100 per person. However, Tennessee Athletic Training Society members will receive a $50 discount on their PEC registration. At the completion of this event, each member will receive eight category D CEUs. 2024 SEATA EducATion Experience & Expo
The annual education symposia and expo for students, educators, and clinical practice professionals in Atlanta, GA will be hosted by the Southeast Athletic Trainers' Association (SEATA). This year's convention features networking and experiences, including a cornhole tournament, exhibitor showcase event, and a Hollywood night of music and fun! The theme for the 2024 Convention will provide hands-on skills for both educationalists and clinical practice. The agenda allows for a tentative 16.25 CEUs, with the primary focus themes being Therapeutic Interventions (BOC Domain 4) and Healthcare Administration and Professional Responsibility (BOC Domain 5). Basic registration for attendees includes education sessions from Thursday to Saturday, the SEATA Tailgate Party with light hors d'oeuvres during Cornhole Tournament, and Quiz Bowl Events.
Safe Star Initiative Webinar
The Public Health Educator for Injury and Prevention at the State of Tennessee Department of Health is hosting a webinar on December 5th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The Safe Stars Initiative recognizes youth sports leagues and organizations throughout the state for providing the highest level of safety for their young athletes. The recognition levels are gold, silver, and bronze. This program involves the implementation of policies around topics such as sudden cardiac arrest, weather safety, injury prevention, and concussion education.
