Please join us for the 2023 Youth Sports Health & Safety Conference presented by the Vanderbilt Youth Sports Health Center.
Learn strategies to help prevent and treat youth and adolescent sports-related injuries, protect the physical and mental health of pediatric athletes and promote their well-being through participation in athletics. Join us as we work together to find better ways to let kids play the sports they love.
The first 40 individuals to contact Shannon Holman (shannon.holman@vumc.org) that they are willing to commit to complete the application to become Safe Stars certified (Silver or Gold level for schools; Bronze, Silver or Gold level for community youth sports organizations) will receive a code to register for free as well as an opportunity to receive a voucher for a free automated external defibrillator (AED) upon completion of the application while supplies last. (Offer applies to one individual per school/organization).
Continuing education credits will be available and there will be opportunities to win a wet-bulb globe thermometer.
Additionally, all conference attendees will have the opportunity to be trained in CPR and AED usage that meets requirements for the Safe Stars law in Tennessee.
