SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) is an evidence-based strength, balance, and exercise falls prevention program for older adults. It is endorsed by both the National Council on Aging and Administration for Community Living (ACL) as a Title IIID evidence-based program. As part of a 3-year grant from ACL, the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability (TCAD) has developed a free online training course for qualified individuals to become certified in the SAIL curriculum. Details about the training timeline, format, and class leader expectations can be found below.
Applications are due April 16th and the training starts April 26th, 2021.
