The TATS Executive Board made several changes to various committee chairpersons during the August conference call. These changes were necessitated by vacancies created from members taking on new roles both within the society and in other professional capacities.
The first position selected was the Secondary School Committee Chair that was vacated when Brad Rohling accepted the TATS Executive Board Middle TN Representative position. After careful consideration, the Executive Board voted unanimously to select Mark Creasey as the new chairperson for Secondary Schools. Mark resides in the Memphis area of West Tennessee and provides athletic training services to Houston High School. He works hand-in-hand with current TATS West TN Representative Tripp Turner.
Next, the Executive Board reached out to Past-President David Green to fill the vacancy in the chair position of the Corporate Relations committee created by Brad Swope's departure. Brad recently took a position with providing athletic training services for Athletes In Action. David has previously filled this role in both Tennessee and for SEATA, as well as numerous leadership positions within the profession.
The TATS Executive Board is excited about these new chair positions that have been filled and looks forward to seeing the work of both of these individuals.
