The Results Are In!

The Results Are In!

Great work by both states during the March NATA Challenge! As you know this challenge was twofold, including both the highest total mileage and the most likes on social media.

We would like to congratulate North Carolina on winning the social media portion of the challenge! They had a Twitter total of 414 to our 228. Tennessee won the the run/walk mileage challenge with a total of 1204.2, which beat North Carolina’s 1033.2.

Great job to both associations this March. Professional advocacy doesn’t end in March - keep using social media to show that Athletic Trainers are Health Care and show your impact.

Be on the lookout for some North Carolina native treats at our next state conference January 2020!

NATM 2019 is Right Around the Corner!

The theme for March 2019 is “AT’s are Health Care”. This theme “provides an opportunity to shed light on the many contributions athletic trainers have made, and continue to make, in areas such as research, innovation and patient care, and contributions that cross a variety of settings – from sports to the military – throughout the U.S. and abroad”(2).

NATA is hosting a social media contest and is looking for pictures of this years poster displayed in training rooms or your workspace. Be sure to tag @NATA1950 and @tnata (so we can repost!) and use the hashtags #NATM2019 and #ATsAreHealthCare.
